Week of Jan 12th
This week was the first week back for the entire crew after a much needed holiday break. The weather this week started off with above average temperatures and finished off windy and freezing. The team had a great week starting 2026 on the right foot. The team took advantage of the cold mornings and frozen ground conditions to tackle some tree work. The focus this week was some of the Siberian Elms on hole 11. These Elms were in bad shape with tons of dead wood in the top canopy. With the coldest weather of the season forecasted for next week, we made sure to get another round of top-dressing out on the greens. The topdressing will help protect the crowns of the plants from the harsh temperatures. The main task this week was to continue punching the rough.
