Week of March 21st

The weather battle continued this week.  We are so close to finishing many of our projects, if we could just get a solid week of great weather we could push across the finish line. 

                                         

The parking lot and cart path project continued this week, starting off strong on Monday but by Wednesday we were delayed again.  Weather plays a huge role in completing this improvement.  Rain shuts the project down and we have found many more issues with the parking lot than first thought.  As of now the goal is to have the parking lot completed by Friday of next week. 

On Tuesday we started our spring aerification.  The crew had a great day Tuesday.  We were able to complete punching, cleaning up, top-dressing and brushing all 18 greens.    

After the greens aerification was complete on Tuesday, we finished all approaches and the new practice area on Wednesday morning .  Our goal this week was to complete all greens, approaches, and tees but the rain Wednesday afternoon and evening stopped us in our tracks.  We will continue punching tees next week as the weather allows.  

Lastly, the patio project had a great week.  The back of the clubhouse section was completed between rain events and the new pillar lights and T.V. outlets were installed.  There are only a few areas and punch-list items left to complete.
