Week of Sept. 12th

It has been a very active week.  We started off the week wet - which delayed some projects - but we finished off the week back on schedule.  As always the team crushed it this week.

The team took advantage of the wet conditions at the start of the week, repairing 4 irrigation leaks and found a drainage issue on hole 5 that needed to be addressed.

We continued punching and seeding the new native areas this week.  We have seeded all the areas except between holes 9 and 15 where we need to finish the 16th tee project before we are able to seed.

The renovation projects were in full swing this week.  The 16th gold tee was lowered and moved to the right for better alignment to the fairway.  The trees between holes 8 and 16 started encroaching and blocked the left side of the tee shot.

The fairway bunker on 9 has been reshaped to allow water coming off the cart path to move around the bunker and prevent washouts.  This was the only bunker that had significant washouts after major rain events.

The improvements to the short game area and the 1st tee are almost complete.  We will have asphalt laid on Friday and the remaining sod will be laid early next week.
