Week of Sept. 19th

What an amazing week of weather!!  The team had a extremely busy week with projects but, as always, they exceeded my expectations and crushed it.

We took advantage of the outing on Monday and installed the new irrigation on the gold tee on hole 16.  Here is Fernando installing all new pipe, wires, and sprinklers.

Early this week we completed the improvements to the 1st tee and short game area and it is looking great.  We were able to roll the new short game chipping area twice this week and hope to get the first cut done later this week.

With the completion of the 16th gold tee the team was finally able to finish punching and seeding the last of the new native areas.  As you are playing you will notice the areas that were seeded 10 days ago have already started to pop.  Please do not drive carts into these areas.  The team has been keeping these areas wet to allow the seed to germinate.

Also this week we have started work to level some forward tees.  We will be able to complete work on holes 6, 12, and 16 by the end of the week.  Please do not play from these tees while the sod roots in.  The tee markers on 6 will be in the fairway,  the tee markers on 12 will be on the new gold tee for 7, and on hole 16 the markers will be on the back of the black tee.

On Wednesday we were able to install the new electrical cabinet at the pump house on hole 2.  Now both the pump house on hole 2 and hole 6 have all new components.  This will allow for the two pump houses to communicate with one another for more efficiency when watering.

As we head into the weekend we will be wrapping up all the tee projects, laying sod, and prepping the course for weekend play.
