Week of Sept. 26th
Fall is finally in the air. It was a beautiful weather week filled with chilly mornings and sun every afternoon. It was a busy week on the course with an outing on Monday and 2 member tournaments. The team did an amazing job working between the outing and tournaments to have another great week.
On Tuesday we finished off the approaches and practice fairways with a heavy topdressing followed by a verti-cut and drag to set the sand in place.
This week we continued working on the new practice fairway and new tees to get them ready to open very soon. They are looking great and enjoying this weather.
The team was able to start punching and over-seeding rough. We will continue to work on weak areas especially under trees over the next couple of weeks.
We have already started to see the benefits of the new electrical cabinet in the pump houses. Finally the 2 pump stations are not fighting each other and the pressure is under control. This has led to zero irrigation repairs from the middle of last week to the end of this week.
Lastly we will be spending the remainder of the week finishing details, fertilizing rough and getting ready for the uncertain weather that is forecasted for the weekend.
