Week of January 2nd

 

Happy New Year.  It was a busy week playing catch up from vacation and the holidays.

Most of this week the team concentrated on course clean up.  The wind storm that came through the weekend of Christmas left us with trees down and lots of debris.  

After the course was cleaned up the team switched gears and started clearing all the bushes and trees around the clubhouse landscape beds.  We are starting over with the landscape at the clubhouse and will be replanting these areas to give the clubhouse a new fresh look.  

Once all the plantings were removed Fernando and Edgar power washed the bricks at the clubhouse that were hidden by all the trees and bushes.  

Lastly this week we took advantage of the warmer weather and finished two drainage projects.  These areas on hole 17 and hole 5 are old drainage that finally failed.  The crew had to identify where the problems where located, needed to replace the crushed pipes with new pipes and tie everything into our new drainage.
