Week of January 30th

Another crazy week of weather.  We had it all this week starting out mild, then rain and snow, ending with sub freezing temps. The crew had another amazing week knocking out a lot on our winter work list.

With the mild start to the week the team gave all playing surfaces a mid winter haircut.  We were amazed on how much the grass has been growing throughout this winter.

The crew took advantage of the frosty mornings and some rain continuing to work on our course accessories.  We should have all the course accessories finished by the end of the month.

We continued to work on our winter tree program which is wrapping up quickly.  The team needs another week or so to finish all in-house tree work.

The fence project will be wrapped up by this weekend.  The fence contractor will be pulling the last of the 900 linear feet of fence that was damaged.

Cart path edging continued this week.  The team only has hole 7 left to do which should be finished by next week.

Lastly this week we started improving the native area between holes 7 and 17.  This has always been a wet area on the course so the team is adding 1000 feet of drainage pipe, gravel and sand to this area to help dry it out so we can establish better playing conditions.
