Week of March 4th

 

Rain, rain - go away.  It has been a very wet week but the rain didn't stop the crew.  The team dodged the rain and had a very productive week.  

The crew started off the week continuing to prep areas around the course for sod.  The plan was to get a truck of sod this week but the constant rain stopped the sod farm from being able to harvest sod.  Our plan is to get a truckload of sod Tuesday next week.  

The big project for the team this week was a complete bunker sand depth check.  Even with all the rain they were able to check, move and add sand to all 67 bunkers around the course.  

For the remainder of the week we will be focused on mowing greens and cleaning up the course for the weekend.  The course is extremely wet from all the rain and the weekend forecast is calling for more to come.
