Week of March 17th
Another beautiful weather week and with last weekend's rains the course is waking up. The warmth this week was a nice treat and hopefully continues. Our team had a great week.
The main focus this week was fairway aerification. The team knocked out 2 fairways last week and 7 so far this week. Depending on the weather at the end of the week we might be able to complete a couple more fairways and hope to finish next week.
Please bear with us during this process. We are trying to complete fairway aeration without course closures to limit disruption to the membership. That said, you can expect to see the team performing clean up tasks and there will be some cart restrictions to minimize tire tracking. Thank you for your patience as we complete this work.
Also this week we completed our second round of seedhead control on greens.
The new siding at the pump house on hole 6 was completed this week and the team painted the pump house on hole 2 to match.
Lastly, for the remainder of the week the team will be focused on fairway aeration, sod prepping and getting the course ready for the Ham Shoot.
