Week of April 14th

Typical spring-like weather this week.  The team had a very productive week fighting through some frost delays, chilly afternoons and constant wind.   

The team started off the week with tee aerification.  They were able to punch, clean, top-dress and brush all the tees on Monday.  

In anticipation of warmer weather the team uncovered the Bermuda Grass hitting area this week.  We will be making some herbicide application next week and hopefully this area will be open soon.  

This week was a big spray week.  We were able to spray greens, tees and fairways this week.  We are planning to spray all native areas this week if the wind calms down.  

Also this week we spent time programing and building our new irrigation computer.  The computer is up and running and will be tested throughout the remainder of the week.  

Lastly, for the end of the week the team will be focused on detail work and getting ready for what looks like a beautiful weekend.
