Week of April 28th
This week will mark the start of a new month. For the last week of April the weather has been beautiful. The team is happy that aeration is behind us and we are looking forward to getting into our weekly routine. It was a busy week for the team and the course is starting to shine.
This week was a busy spray week. Greens, tees and fairways were sprayed starting our weekly and bi-weekly programs.
The team was able to start punching rough this week. The main focus was relieving compaction in high traffic areas.
We did have a storm roll through early Wednesday morning, covering the greens with debris and knocking down a few large limbs. The Orchard took the brunt of the storm blowing over a few of our fruit trees.
The team spent a lot of time this week catching up on details around the course.
Also, this week we found some time to start working on a joint project with the Kitchen Staff. More to come on this exciting project over the next couple weeks.
Lastly, for the remainder of the week the team will be focused on details and getting ready for the weekend which could be a rainy one.
Thanks for reading.
