Week of Dec. 8th

Another very cold and windy week.  We did have some snowfall last weekend but it didn't stay around long.  The team went right back to work after the snow melted and had a great week fighting through the cold weather.

The team finished off the drainage project on hole 18 at the start of the week.

This week the team also installed new drainage at the equipment wash pad.  They removed the old drainage and installed bigger drainage pipes to handle the water flow.

Irrigation was one of the focuses this week. Here is the team installing additional sprinkler heads on the 3rd forward tee.  This addition will not only reduce the amount of hand watering on this tee but also helps the coverage on the 2nd green surround.

Another irrigation project was installing new hose connectors on tee 10 and tee 2.  These hose connectors are closer to the tees for more efficiency while hand watering.

The last irrigation project for the week was the addition of 2 sprinkler heads on hole 18.  Because of poor irrigation spacing in this area the team spends countless hours during the summer hand watering the edge of 18 fairway.  The sprinkler additions will help reduce the hours spent in this area.

Lastly, the team will be focused on cleaning up the course after this week's winds and tidying up any projects.  Also, this will be the last blog post for 2025 as our team gets ready to spend some well-deserved time with friends and family.  We hope everyone has a great holiday season and we thank you for your support in 2025 - and we can't wait for the new year.
