Week Aug. 31st

We turn the page on August this week.  With that, shorter days and dark mornings for the team.  For the first week of September the weather was confused and seemed more like late July.  The team had a very busy week.

With the weather forecast, we started out the week spraying greens and tees with wetting agent to help with water infiltration and uniformity.  Also, moisture management on fairways was a major focus but having the TurfRad was a big help in locating drier areas.

The team battled through some irrigation repairs that popped up this week and will complete all repairs by the weekend.

Detail work was in full swing around the property this week - everything from bunker details, tree trimming and pond work was on the list this week.

This week we had the opportunity to demo a range picker from Toro. This will help keep the warm up range clean and reduce safety risks.  More information to come.

Lastly, for the remainder of the week the team will be focused on getting the course ready for a great holiday weekend.  Good luck to everyone in the Club Championship.
